Does birth control make you gain weight?

Does birth control make you gain weight? I've asked a lot of people. and most of them said that it made them gain weight? the pills... does it??

ya birth control does make you gain a little bit of weight but its differnt for people some do adn some dont and other can gain it in the stomach area and other can gain it in the boob and butt area and itll never go to there stomach but all people are different.

Birth control does not cause weight gain ... although many of us wish we had something to blame our weight gain on.

When you go on the pill ask your gyno. They will de-funk the myth as well.

It's true for some people. For me, I gained a ton of weight in my boobs. I got on the pill three months ago (for menstrual reasons) and I went from a B cup to a D cup. I also feel like I've gained a bit of weight in my stomach but that can easily be controlled.

I gained quite abit of weight on the pill but it depends who you are. dont forget there are other options if the pill makes you put weight on try a different method. I swaped to the injection and it did the same thing to me but I've noe got the implant in my arm. it DOESNT hurt, you cant forget to take it and I havnt gained a pound!

okay so here is a curve ball for ya, I actually lost weight. which is just as common as gaining it on the pill. everyones body reacts to it differently. Your doctor will tell you the same thing. losing weight on the pill seems not typical only because you never here about that. you only here what everyone is nagging about and feeling negitive about so if that helps well then I am glad. talk to you doc. he will clear up the facts
