Do you have a favorite flea regimen for your dogs?

I am curious as to what types of getting rid of flea regimens work for people.

I give my 2 English Springer Spaniels their brewers yeast/garlic tablets in the morning.
Sometime in the morning I will put a bit of carpet flea powder in the vacuum...

canister and then vacuum them with a special pet attachment.
I will also use a flea zapper comb on them.
Once a month they do get the flea/tick drops.

This regimen takes a little time BUT my home is not flea infested.

Sound like too much work? Perhaps you have a faster but working regimen for myself and others to try?

i use revolution.. it kills fleas, ticks, and mange and is also a heartworm preventative.. there is also a frontline spray that you can spray your carpets once and it will kill all the fleas that are in the house.

I also came across NEMATODES that you put in your lawn and there is also that special soil you can buy to put down which has stuff in it to puncture the shell of the fleas, but I don't want to do that because the little sharp things in it might hurt the dogs.
