Do I need permission from my dad to live with my mom?

My mom lives in CA. Do I need a permission from my dad to live with her if I'm 16? I'm from Ukraine, so maybe it is necessary for my visa

Yeah you'll have to get permission most likely, I'm not familiar with the law over there, so you'll have to ask a teacher or someone who can truly answer that question. But at 16 you should be able to, you'll have to make sure your mom is ok with it, and your dad if they both are ok with it, then you should be able to live with your mom.

all I know is that in canada ... if you're 16, you get to choose which parent you want to live with

honestly I believe if you want to live with your mom then it shouldnt be up to him its your desicion
