Do i have bed bugs?

My roommate has what appears to be bed bug bites all over her I have none. Our rooms are right next door to one another in the same apt. She has not seen any bugs in her bed or any signs that there are any (I.e. dark spots or shedding of bug skin,...

etc.). We haven't seen any bugs in the entire apt; however, she keeps waking up with bites. We ahve no pets are very clean. How can we properly clean the apt if we do not even know the source? What can these bites be then??

Bed bugs can be carried in the mattress and you may not even see them. They leave no sign of being there also. Is she using an old mattress? Was it used before she got it?
That's the most commen way to get bed bugs, an old mattress.

Sometimes allergic reactions look like bed bug bites... Might want to take that into consideration...

if she was waking up with numerous spider bites daily she'd be dead...

wash all the bedding, carpet, stuffed animals, pillows...anywhere that bed bugs could hide. and get a new mattress.

If you aren't sure about the bites on her arm, ask a dermatologist. It is possible that you don't get bitten and she does. Try looking at the seams of your mattress for signs of bedbugs. If they are bedbugs, you have to call a fumigator to kill them.

well firstly do you have any animals living with you
then it is definitly flea bites
or its just insect bites
some people are just more sensitive
I get them all the time when I am out
I wouldnt worry

I had the same problem what I did was wash all my sheets pillows etc and it turned out to be spiders and I know this has nothing to do with the question on average a human being will eat 2-3 spiders a yrar while they sleep
