Why is my period so light and short?

My period is only lasting 1-2 days..really just spotting.What could that possibly mean

Periods can mess up a lot like that if your going through changes, like stress. There could be so many things that explain that, so ask your doctor.

if if lasts under 2 days, then it's not a period.
is it red? do you still need to use a pad or tampon?
if not then it is spotting.
like STEPH said there's lots of reason your peridos can mess up.
