How can i delete my past account?

OKAY. so I clicked the delete account button on my old account and I got the email HOWEVER
the Click here to activate your account button did not work.

Did you try to copy and paste it into your browser's address bar instead?

I just tried it. it just took me to bing.com.

Ok, if you didn't activate your email for that account, it won't delete.

Use the contact form, explain WHY you created two accounts (it is against the rules...which we also, oddly enough, expect people to read since the sign up form says they agree to them) and then we can help. Deal?
