Creaking couch

My couch is a bassett couch and is about 8 years old. everytime you get up from the couch it creaks. is there anything I can do to stop the creaking?

Either get a new couch, or tear this one apart and tighten up wherever the frame seems loose. If you take it apart and can't put it back together, take out the springs and other junk, and make it into a bench; you've already got a sturdy frame.
