Well, there is no 'real' way to pray to God, and there is no right or wrong. I am Jewish, so we say most of our prayers in hebrew, but the translation would be something like 'Please dear God thank you for this wonderful meal of which you bestow upon us, and we ask and thank you for your blessings. Amen' You can pray about anything, anytime and anywhere! Good luck, and keep believing!

Pray anyway you want to. There's no right or wrong way and if there IS a God, then he, she or it should be able to read your thoughts or hear what you say anyway, right?

If you're thanking him, say 'Thank you' and if you want something, ask for it, I guess. Like if you are asking to make someone who's sick, well.

As far as how you address God, then 'Dear God' has always been the standard, I think..

Personally, I think that praying is mostly for the benefit of the person doing it.anyway.

1463: the answer will depend on what religion you are. Muslims, Jews and Christians have their own differences.

If you are Christian The Lord's Prayer was presented in Matthew as an example of how to pray.

When I asked that exact question, many years ago...a wonderful person told me to start out saying 'please' in the morning...and 'thankyou' at night.

He promised praying would eventually become an intregal part of my life...and he was right!

When you first start praying it will seem like an effort, and actually it is a discipline. One that gets easier the more you do it. Jesus gave us the example in Matthew, as was stated earlier, maybe someone will give the chapter and verse, as I don't have time to right now, and can't remember the location. He prayed to the Father, so do I, in the name of Jesus, because Jesus made things right, so we could go to the Father.

There is no right nor wrong way to pray, so, don't worry about making a mistake. I normally always bring thanks to the Lord, for something that he has done, or just thanks that I am alive, and able to praise him. Thanks for creating me, and giving me life, thanks for loving me and forgiving me, and delivering me from evil, thanks for opening up his word to me, and helping me to understand it, thanks for his protection, direction, provision, and for every good and perfect gift that comes from above.

Lastly, I bring my petitions, and I always end in thanksgiving.

Again, you will develop your own style of praying, so, take ideas that are offered, and implement your own, always listening for the small still voice of the spirit to help you, and you may be given an intercessory spirit, that will pray thru you, when the spirit wants something done. Or you may not. Each of us have an idividual walk with the Lord, we all have giftings and abilities, that are from him, and that is one of the wonderful things about God, he is so diverse. Nothing is ever dull and boring about him, if it is, it is religion.. man made.

The spirit is alive, and brings life to all he touches. Your spirit will learn how to communicate with him. It is also good to pray scripture back to him, showing him that you trust his word, believe it, and depend upon him to bring it to pass in your life.

Please feel free to funmail me anytime.

God Bless...

Theres not a real way, if you go to a church, and you really are serious about committing your life to God, then you can be saved. They will pray a prayer with you and you will feel a rush of happiness. Trust me it happened to me , and I was amazed.
If you have any questions, you can ask me.. no question is dumb, or obvious.
Don't be afraid, just ask (:
And there really isn't a 'way' to pray.
Just talk to God, he's there and he'll listen.
AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU (:
peace <3

You say, 'Please Lord, send Domzilla a sign as to what the winning mega millions jackpot numbers are going to be.' that is how you pray ;> just say that every day and if and when I win I'll send you some money. Just playing lol. Honestly you just pray for Gods will to be done and thank him for providing for you the the things in life that you need, such as food and shelter. Thats it just his will, never your own.

Dear God Please teach me the truth about you and me. If you are real techme your truth. THen read the bible. And as you do ask God to help you understand it.

HEre is another ogod prayer. Dear Jesus I relize I am a sinful perons and that you are a right person. I belive you loved God and me so much that you were willing to die to pay for my sins and correct the problem of sin between me and your father God. WHo you are so close to that you are it seems the same perosn. It is becasue of your greatness and wonder that this is so.

Teach me to love your messiah and to have a meaningful and true relationshipwith oyu and with others who know you and loe. you. SAve me and fill me with your holy spirit and let me know and understand your truth. Amen.
Purpose of Jesus.
Matthew 18:11, 20:28, Luke 19;10 John 3:17 John 9:35- 41, 10:9, John 12: 42 – 50 18:37 1 Titus 1:15, 1 Timothy 1:15 Hebrews 2:14 -15 1 John 3:5 + 3:8
Parable of the Sowers
Luke 8:4-10 + Luke 8:11 – 15
Road to Emmaus
Luke 24:27 Luke 24: 25
When Jesus says “he who has an ear let him hear” he is talking about persons who realize this idea of a Messiah and believe it to be true.
The Bible is a Book about Jesus.
The Old Testament is a prophecy of Jesus and the Law of Moses is a description of Jesus. It exists so we could know who the messiah was when he appeared.
The New Testament is an explanation of Jesus so we can see and understand that He is the Messiah. John 12 27–36
There are many Jewish writings that existed 400 years BC when certain Jewish persons looked over many old Jewish stories and writings to see if they should be considered really important. The ones that seemed to them to be explaining bits and pieces of the idea of the Messiah were included. If they contained prophecies then the ones where there was a true event that had happened later to fulfill that prophecy those books were considered by those Jewish men (400 BC) to be worthy of being included.
The books that were not included were ones that seemed to them to not explain or help to recognize the coming Messiah.
Every Bible story is a type or example of some one who believed in the messiah or refused to believe. This is the barometer or measuring rod or Idea that all the scripture is about and can be correctly understood by.
God promised Adam that God would send a Messiah and that messiah would crush the head of Satan while the Messiah bruised his own heel. This was talking about the death of Jesus on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus after going to hell for three days and defeating Lucifer (Satan)
God promised Adam that through A special person who God would send to the earth in the Future to be called the Messiah God would solve the problem of sin that Adam had caused by disbelieving what God had said and then doing what God had told Adam not to do.
Through Jesus God would solve the great and unsolvable problem of SIN.
God decided that the test God would use for those God would allow into Heaven (the Kingdom of God) was “Would they believe in Jesus as the Messiah?”
It is not sin that keeps us from Entering the Kingdom of God (Heaven) but the unbelief that God Loves us (Them) fully and truly.
To be “saved” from Hell fire and separation from God for all eternity one must believe that Jesus is the Messiah God has provided to solve this greatest of all problems caused by what Adam our ancestor did. One who is changed then has their heart changed by God. Got puts ( writes) his Law on their heart. It is based on God’s love and goodness. God gives his righteousness to each person who believes in His Son Jesus as their own savior. It glorifies Jesus and God whenever a person believes in Jesus as their Savior.
God then helps them to become like Jesus is. Forgiving, Caring, Giving, Helpful to those suffering from a sense of hopelessness because of troubling circumstances and producing the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5. In order to produce the Fruit Of The Spirit one must eat and drink the Fruit Of The Spirit. Eat the abundance form the Saviors Banqueting table. God then can act through us and in us.
Isaiah 61: 1 Luke 19:8 Luke 4:18 Matthew 13:54 – 58 Mark 6: 1 – 6 Romans 7:4 Mark 4:3
A saint is anyone who puts his trust in Jesus that Jesus is the Messiah and that because they believe that and accept Jesus as the one who saved them from eternal punishment because they realize they are hopefully lost and need a savior. By this fact no one in the Kingdom of God will boast of their own self or their ability to have gotten themselves to heaven. Every one in heaven will point at Jesus and say “He” got me here. Without his dying and being raised from death I would never be able to get to heaven. We will all boast about Jesus and what he did.
Righteousness is a gift given by God to each person who accepts Jesus as their Savior. Noah and Job and Moses and Daniel and Abraham are all called righteous in the Bible because they were believers in the idea that God was sending a Messiah who would save them form sin. Abraham Believed God and Noah who told him that one of his descendents would be the Messiah who would die at the hands of his own relatives. This is why he was willing to sacrifice his son Isaac. He realized that the Messiah would be raised back to life by God. This is spoken in Hebrews 11th and 12th chapters.

If you are a christian just tell god your thoughts and feelings and anything you need help with or want to be thankful for. Just basically have a chat. Or if you feel that is too informal, say the lord's prayer ( our father ) or any other prayers you know. I f youn don't know any, I'm sure you could look them up on the net.

There are many different ways to pray. All prayers are done with the deepest respect, love and sincerity to Him who Created us.

It depends on what you are praying about. If it is to give your heart to Him you must ask Him to forgive you of your sins mentioning some of the worst ones then you must ask God into your heart. Give Him complete reign over you...put Him in the 'drivers seat' of your life. Allow Him to lead you into all truth. He will if you allow Him to do so.

When I pray I kneel most of the time; I feel more reverent and closer to Him when I do this. . . I do it out of love for Him.

Always put God first in your life, others second, and yourself last. This way you will empty yourself allowing God to lead you into all His truths and His wisdom.

The way I start a prayer is 'Oh dear Heavenly Father, Lord God Almighty. During the prayer I call Him by name, Lord Jesus, Father Creator of all...

If you would like to fun mail me I'll do whatever I can to answer any question you may have. God bless you.
