Controlling pregnancy symptoms

Me Asked by katydid747 about 1 year ago, 5 answers.

Hey, this is mainly for anyone who has been pregnant before.
Lately I've been really bad headaches, but it is a headache that makes my head feel nauseous not so much my stomach.
The other day I was at work and I got really light headed and nauseous and...

had hot flashes then got really cold and thought I was going to throw up, but I didn't. I ended up going home and missed work for 3 days.
My main syptoms are headaches and nausea. I couldn't really get myself to eat anything besides soup and I didn't want to take any medicine because I don't know if I can take medicine.
Is there anything I can do to help the nausea and the headaches?
I can't afford to keep missing work, I have bills to pay.

your pregnant?
if you are I had the same similar symptons, sometimes even when I felt sick and didnt want food at all the smell would literally make me barf, but I tried my hardest to eat something and sometimes felt better afterwards, you can use medication just go to your doctor or nurse to find out whats best for you to take, I never over did any pills or anything I got given, plenty of rest and stress when pregnant can lead to dizzyness more than you should be getting, so try chill out and relax, try not to worry about things
good luck (:

ok luv, when people find out they are pregnant they stop caffine intake etc and sometimes that can cause headaches. I would say though that its the hormones in your case. they are going crasy right now and they do cause head aches. they should settle down soon but you can take panadol when your pregnant ask your pharmacist. xx

hi hun
it depends on how long you are pregnant if you are far on in the pregnacy get checked out for pre eclampsia... but if you are in your first tremester de symptons are normal.. its jus your body gettin used to something different... (making you and your partners baby)

but if the headaches are really bad I would advise going to see your doctor to rule out anything that is worrying u...

good luck hun

During my first trimester, the only thing that helped with the nausea were saltine crackers. They were SO nasty, but the sour stomach went away after about 10 crackers.
