Connecting 2 computers to internet

I got a computer in my room connected with the dsl modem and I connected another desktop computer in another room but how do I get it to connect also? Is there something I have to buy?

You can buy wireless cards for your PC, you just have to pop the case and install them. The entire operation takes about 5 minutes, actually.

Look up D-Link. They have the best wireless routers(you connect the modem to them, and poof, you're transmitting wireless) and cards, and everything generally runs better when both the card and router are the same company and from the same line. I have a DIR-625 wireless router with a Linksys 300N PCI adapter. I get pretty good connections, but it would be better if I had the card designed for the 625. What you probably want is the DIR-655 and the Extreme adapter that goes with it.

You have to buy a cord its called a ethernet cord you can get it at walmart so that it will hook up to another room

I have a Ethernet cord but the other room is too far...is there any other way preferably wireless?

I think you need a cable (dont ask me what's the name of this cable because im useless with PC) if its on a desktop pc and not a laptop.

my younger brother and I are connected to our brother's router...when im on my laptop im going wireless using a TP-Link...My older brother pc actual monitors what we do etc even changing my laptop setting I need a pw from him arhhh...he can access my laptop but I cant access his pc...hope that help its like a sheep leading a sheep

It's called an Ethernet cable, and there's two types. Direct connect, for directly connecting two computers or gaming systems, and network, for connecting a computer to a router.
