Personally I'm a fan of Opera. It seems to be the fastest of all browsers. Unfortunately not all websites work correctly with Opera so sometimes I fall back to firefox or even Internet Explorer.

I like firefox becuase it works faster than IE does, especially IE7.

However, I've heard from a lot of people that Opera is good, I've just been too lazy to install a 3rd choice, even after it went free.

I think for speed and reliability go with Firefox. There are still some pages that won't open in firefox, but they offer a free plug-in called "view page in IE" which works really well. Opera is very fast, but has a lot of pages not compliant with the browser. Good Luck

Firefox. I'm a webmaster, and it's pretty much a dream to check and construct sites with. I never get pop up's. I can't imagine life without the Colorzilla or some of the other plug-ins. It's easy to use, good looking, and highly customizable.

but school foreces me to use IE.

firefox every time! it's faster, it's safer, it's cooler, it's open source, it's free, it's safer, it's more 'standards compliant', there's tons of add-ons to customize it how you want... oh, and did I say, it's SAFER!!!
