I've worked in retail before and its really important that you look at the megapixels the camera has as well as the optical and digital zoom.

Choosing a camera, please help (only answer if you truly know)
So I'm debating on getting a new digital camera, and recently fell in love with the Kodak Easy Share Z980 Black 12MP Digital Camera with 24x Optical Zoom, Smart Capture, but recently my mom mentioned to me about the Nikon Cool pix P90 Black 12MP Digital...
Camera with 24x Optical Zoom, 3 LCD. Now, they are both about the same price (Nikon 20 bucks extra or so) and I've found both pros and cons on both of them:
Nikon Pro: Moving LCD screen
Kodak Pro: Vertical and Horizontal shots
However, from friends I've heard the Kodak overall is better, but I think that's just my friends trying to agree with my first choice. You can find both of these cameras at Wal-Mart, so if anyone doesn't mind searching them up and doing a little more research that would be great. Like I said so far I'm aiming towards the Kodak, but the Nikons moving LCD screen looks great!
The real question is, which is better, and if anyone has tested both, please let me know I'd appreciate it.
