I have seen situations in the past where people coming to a birthday party all liked different kinds of cake.
To solve the situation, what was done was they got a large rectangle shaped piece of cardboard and covered it with aluminum foil.
Next, they made different kinds of cupcakes. The cupcakes were arranged in a design on the board, but they were placed really close together.
They spread frosting over the complete surface of the tops of all the cupcakes and they decorated it just as if it were one huge cake.
The candles worked perfectly with it, and when it came time to serve the cake... everyone got to have what ever kind they wanted. The papers that the cupcakes were baked in are what told what kind of cake it was.
Hope This May have helped some. Happy Birthday !
:-)
It is your birthday so you should have whatever cake is your favorite, but if you want to please your guests, have two cakes!
I like carrot cake but it isn't my favorite.
My favorite cakes are lemon or orange cakes but they aren't popular.
My 2nd favorite would be red velvet cakes and everyone seems to like that.
At my birthday parties there is usually a small lemon or orange cake mainly for me and a large red velvet cake.
