Cant get my lip ring out

I'm trying to change my lip ring for the first time..but it wont come out and I have been trying for about an hour now. =(
It is a ring with a ball...does anyone know how to change it?

Do you mean the jewelery wont come out or do you mean you cant get the ball out?

first make sure youve had it in for at least 3 months
so its had time to heal
otherwise doint take it out yet
now, the ball comes out easily
put one hand on the ring and the other on the ball near the side
push it up and it should pop out
the putting it together is easy
there 2 small holes on the ball, were the ring meets them to keep it in place
match one hole to the ball and them push the other side into each other
that should do it

It sounds easy when people say just match 1 hole to the ball and push the other in. Till you actually try do it... try lining up a pin sized hole on a ring that's in your lip, with your fingers in the way. Trying to hold the ring with 1 hand, looking in a mirror... The hand you're holding the ring with is in the way, you can't see to line up the 1st hole. You can't get pressure to push it in... it goes on and on. Plus it's even harder trying to do it in a mirror because you keep moving the wrong way. DON'T DO IT YOURSELF... get someone to do it for you!

hold the ball and push it off. If its one of the straight ones then screw the ball off and pull it out. if its the curved one like before hold the ring and the ball push the ball sideways so that its going out of it and it should pop right out.
