no a PS2 controller will NOT work on a ps3 in anway and can't be plugged in anwhere

yes but you have to by a ps2 to ps3 adapter not good for gutar hero if you were not going to use it for gutar hero then its ok

Yeah, but you need to buy an adapter. A ps3 is a wireless system. It'll cost you about 15 dollars.
