I dont understand why thay say if your trying to get pregnant why have sae every other day? I red online that sperm stays in you 3 to 5 days. so you have sex every day its harder for you to get pregnant? why every other day if sperm stays in you that...

long? And if your not ovulating is there a chance you can get pregnanat???

ok, well.. what you can do is check it out with the doctors... my boyfriend get me preg twice.. and I lost them both... it was not fun. I would say to do it once a week and test once you guys have... I really wanted the kids... I would check. I understand that it is so weird.. but yeah.. I know that was like no help.. im sorery...

Technically the best time to have sex for pregnancy is 4-5 days before ovulation, and about 1 day after ovulation. Your fertility peaks from 24 hours before to 24 hours after ovulation, but since sperm can live in your body for a few days, you should have sex sooner. However, sex for pregnancy is only suggested every other day, since this allows the man's sperm count to replenish itself. If you have sex every day, the sperm are fewer and not as strong, which decreases your chance of conception. Remember that even with normal fertility, there is only a 25% chance of getting pregnant every ovulation cycle.

My husband is a marines I started my period oct 5th I didn't make it to japan until Oct 23 is there still a chance I could've got pregnant? I dont really understand the ovulation thing and all of that! I would appreciate if someone could help shine some light on this for me!!!
