Can you plant watermelon in any area?

Can you plant watermelon in any area? and is it really hard to plant watermelons wherever you are? Because I bought some in walmart haha (they were only like 97 cents) and I decided to try to plant some I just want to know if I even can.

You sure can! And the reason is, they are classified as an annual, which means they grow in one season only and then die.

You should start them now in small pots inside, then plant them after frost. Usually you plant them isnide about 3 weeks before last frost date. You need plenty of room for them outside, lots of sunlight, and good fertile soil on the acidic side.

They need a lot of plant food... you should be able to get more info online...

u plant them in a place where they can get sunlight but also shade kk

No, no shade at all, these are full sun lovers, meaning at least 6 hours a day. Afternoon sun is better than morning sun so plant them in a south or west side of your house.
