Can you go in a coma from slitting your wrists?

Well my friend once told me she was going to comit suicide by slitting her wrists, it really worried me because I love her very much, so I told her she possibly wont die, but she can go in a comma. But I want to know, is it possible to go in a coma for slitting your wrist?

if she is talking about it- she is most likely not going to go through with it, the right way anyway.
I agree with the above advice- unconsciousness would result from enough blood lost.
I don't believe a coma would result from heavy blood loss.
listen to amblessed's advice- help her seek someone to help her. don't simply leave it up to her.

I dont think so I cut and have only passed out from bloob loss sry but I dont think you can go into a coma you can die though and if I were you I would talk to your friend I have thryed to camit suicide and its not the way to go trust me
