Can my 2 yr old chihuahua be bred by a shitzu male

I have a beautiful little chihuahua, she will be two on july 28th, she is in heat now. my aunt has a shitzu, I was wondering if that was to large of a dog to breed with my chi. thank you.

Sure, she can get pregnant by him, but she may need a C-section if the pups are too large to be delivered vaginally. I'd suggest a trip to the vet.

But why shih-tzu chihuahua mix puppies? Is there a demand for them? I don't think people want to spend money on a mutt...unless very popular ones, ie. cockapoo, cockadoodle, etc.

Oh gosh please don't bred that way, it would maybe kill your dog. If you aren't going to spay can't you look for a Chihuahhua stud.

A Shi-tuz can throw pups larger then him. I would be so worried and it would really most likely cost you tremdously.

No don't, I agree with all of the above. I would worry about breeding a very small dog period to it's own breed.
