Can i work in the criminal justice field if my husband is a felon?

I heard that I cannot work as a probation officer or in any other criminal justice field if my husband is a felon?? He was convicted over 10 years ago for a drug charge he got as a teenager.

I am already enrolled in college for an AS in Criminal...

Justice and dont want to waste my time if I won't be able to get a job.

I know where I work we have a policy that we cannot associate with a felon in our private lives. Youshould check the policy of the place you want to work.
