Felons in the criminal justice field

If I go to college and get my associate degree ,will I be able to find a job?

No one can guarantee that. I would suggest you talk to your school/career advisor and see what your options are. Starting out earlier may increase your chances of landing a job right agter you graduate. Good luck!!

Actually - a great deal of police officers and parole officers this day in age - are former felons themselves. These reformed men and women have a great deal to offer society as they can provide a better understanding to todays youth.

My husband is a perfect example. In his youth: He stole and sold guns, drugs, etc. (aka not the best choices). He grew up on the streets so to speak and so he can offer other kids on the streets something more than I could if I were in that line of work. He can relate to their thought process, their needs, and what drew them in.

In my opinion ~ those men and women are a profound asset to the criminal justice field.
