taking more vitamin c than you are supposed to take will not help you to become more immune to getting the cold.
There is indeed a theory that high doses of vitamin c prevent colds. I think the jury's still out although I have a friend who hasn't had a cold for 17 years and he takes a lot of it
If you take too much, the only side effect you should experience is diarrhea - I don't think it can cause your periods to stop.
Hmm..I have never heard of that happening. I think you're just spotting, you'll get your period soon don't worry.

You would have to take megadoses of vitamin C to get any real physical effects of any kind. Extra vitamin C is eliminated from the body through the urine. There is no reason to believe it would stop your period.

I have been taking 1000mg of vitamin c suppliment for a few days now, to get more immuned from getting a cold.and my period was supposed to come and it did,but extremly little and nothing came for the rest of the day or even the next day,could it be because of an overdose of vitamin c?
