What is this brown stuff in my nose?

I just blew my nose and some dark brown mucus came out. Should I be worried? Has this happened to anyone else?

mucus out of your nose should be clear. i learned in science that if it is yellow or green then you are sick but brown is an infection or it could be a little blood in there.

Sounds like blood to me too. Sometimes I get that when I have a sinus infection or when there is an abrupt weather change.

If you feel fine and your mucus returns to normal soon forget about it, otherwise see a Dr.
