Will black highlights on brown hair look good?

I'm getting black highlights, and I have brown/dirty blonde hair. Do you guys think it will look good?

Highlights shud be lighter... it wont look natural but it would look actually PRETTY COOL!

why don't you do a darker suddle brown?

or a dark brown with the smallest tint of red...

Yeah, I agree, the dark brown with the tint of red would be pretty! I personally think that when people have light or medium hair, dying it black looks sooo FAKE, and also makes the hair look damaged! Only people with dark hair can really pull it off in my opinion!

I'm not trying to pull anything off, I just want to see what it looks like...

Oh, and I'm not putting a lot of highlights in, I'm just putting streaks in. But isn't that the same thing?

I wouldn't do those streaks...
it would be tacky...
and look fake...
the point of highlights/lowlights is to spice things up...
not 'overdo' it.

sounds like you did the right thing. I like it when people dye the bottom 1/3 of their hair! (that's what I do... mine is a medium brown-ish red!)
