Best dogs to get

dray cart Asked by drogger about 1 year ago, 10 answers.

What are the most domesticated dogs? I want a dog that won't sleep in the bed, rip up the sofa or poop wherever he feel like. What dog to get?

No certain dog is going to behave better. It's all in their training. If you train them right then they'll act right.

In my experience retrievers are the best.

The other posters are right. You have to train your dog to do the things you want him/her to do or not to do. In my experience German Shepards and retrievers are the easiest dogs to train. I have a Black Lab and he takes commands very well with little training. Having said that you can train any dog to do anything. It all comes down to your patience.

I have raised palms pits labs chows the small dogs tend to want in the bed they are harder to house train and that is because they are helt a lot . if you want a dog that you can devote the time to get either a lab I had 8 and none of them ever gave me any trouble. pits on me are also great they take time to train but if they are treated right they are best for a female living alone chows are very very protective of their master so be careful there. hope this helps good luck

try http://www.animalresources.co.uk they have links to breed rescue centres who can advise you on the differences between different breeds - and if you adopt from a breed rescue centre you could be saving a dog ;-)

im 14 and all my life I have been raised with german shepherds...those are the best dogs to get. and like everyone else said it all depends on how you train them, my family and I have a 2 yr old german shepherd and she is great, she knows all her commands in german, and I have a downsyndrome 6 yr. old brother thats very huggy and touchy and likes to share food and she is great wit that...,my mom also uses the paper traing when a dog does something wrond she rolls up a newspaper and taps the dog not hard but to say like your not supposed to do that so when they get older all you have to do is just pick up a paper and they will know they have done something wrong but they grown out of it when they oldd enough to rememmber what to do and what not to do
but I hope my long advice helps but I think german shepherds are the best dogs to get.

this is a picture of the puppy I have now, shes 2 years old and a full breed german shepherd...it is rele hard to see her but its a good picture

theres not one type of dog for everyone, any breed can be trained well its just a matter of percerverence (spelling???sorry not good at that) im 15 and have raised/trained/bred/shown english springer spaniels for a while now. theres not really a best dog to get, its personal if you are dominane or leniet, etc. but research ango to akc.org ,talk to breeders, dont act on impulses and dont buy from a pet store, etc good luck
