Balancing equations

How do you complete and balance this equation

C6H12O6 = ??

Answer #1

I think that you can only balance the equation if there is something on the opposite side of the equals sign. Thats what I learned in algebra anyways. But my attention seems to get pulled to other things and I cant concentrate to good ; P

Answer #2

It has to be doing something… glucose doesnt simply react on its own… odds are this is the reaction you’re talking about

C6H12O6 + 6O2 = 6H2O + 6CO2

Answer #3

you cant balence C6H12O6 unless you have another side but ty is right that that is probably the question being posed.

Answer #4

Are you sure that is the full question? Because there won’t be a product unless you have something for the C6H12O6 to react with.

Answer #5

Well that is a glucose molecule, it has been years since I had to balance chemical equations but the question is incomplete!
