Anorexia

me Asked by bobo76 8 months ago, 7 answers.

Ok so, I have a friend she isn't eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
She thinks shes fat, me and a lot my friends are trying and trying to help her and we are telling her to eat healthy foods. She said she wants a body like mine, and it makes me sad...

everytime she looks in the mirror she says that she hates herself.
This all happened because some guests came over to her house and said that shes been gaining weight! Any help?!

I would say don't tell her parents straight away. I have Anorexia and when my mum found out it was twice as worse. It depends how bad it's got though, if she's loosing hair, or she has a layer of hair over her body which is common sign that the Anorexia is really bad then yes tell her parents. I'm just wondering though, does she say she has Anorexia quite openly to you? Because Anorexic's don't usually tell people. If they do their ready or try to recover xx

Who's that? Oh, me. Answered by maddie1414 on Mar 20, 2009, 08:11AM

Tell a trusted adult. If you're not comfortable talking to her parents, try a school counsler. Don't just ignore this!!! You're friend is going through something serious.

her parents NEED to know right away!!! She needs to get into counceling or some type of intervention before this turns into an eating disorder, if it already hasnt!
