Ankle or achilles?
I'm a swimmer and of course, I use my ankles and feet a lot. Sometimes if I point my left foot/ankle too hard (normally during backstroke) my ankle with freeze up. Just under the inside ankle bone it feels really tight and hurts a lot. Like under the bone but towards the direction of the heel. It's more of like... actually under the bone and below it. Then it becomes really tight at the bottom of my achilles, where it connects to the ankle. After that I'll have to slowly massage and then I'm normally out the rest of the practice. I have a really big meet coming up, so it would be a big help if someone knew if it is my ankle or achilles.
