ummm, I'm british, well spoken, but I luuurve the american accent - can't wait to pick it up when I move over there :OD
Well, it varies, of course, and I like that. I like to hear different accents and try to work out where someone comes from - we do that all the time in the UK and you can do it with American accents too. I'm sure a lot of people think it's cool, because of all the TV, films and music we hear from the US. I don't think of it as sloppy at all - it generally sounds friendly to me.
well im from ny and I supposely have a ny accent
many people like my accent
well it really depends, I live in the usa, and it is really sloppy, theres a lot of slang, I dont really like it. I like the brittish accent, and sometimes chinese
I'm from canada, and generally we have the same accents, but I know a few girls from Louisiana and I swear I can't understand half the things they are saying! I however, like the NY accent, and the southern georgia accent (y'all) is so cute.
Americans have daft pronunciations of words...it's kinda annoying.
I don't really like the American accent too much, it's a bit fake. Although Southern American accents are quite funny and cool.
Scotland have the best accents!!
ps. There is no such thing as a British accent!

American accent?
Send me Fun Mail
I was wondering what poeple outside of the states thought of the American accent. Like is it sloppy, cool, etc.
