Is anyone afraid of the dark?

who is afraid of the dark and what do you do to get through the night?

night light, locked door, check any place anyone could be hiding before getting into bed, have someone else turn off lights once your asleep...

what if there is a power outage or your light bulb burnt out ( not trying to be rude good idea and I thank you for the advice ^_^)

I used to be. After I quit believing in gods/demons/etc., my fear of the dark vanished as well.

Yea I usually just listen to music and I have a flashlight in my nightstand in case the power does go out. But I'm not that scared anymore I just got over it because there's really nothing to do about darkness its just there

until my late teens!
try a small or dim light.
or maybe keep a hallway light on.

yes im scared of the dark. im 15

when I go to bed I leave the light on in the hall outside my bedroom and leave my bedroom door open. Also when im staying at my mums boyfriends I go round shutting all the doors in the hall first ad then keep the hall light on and my bedroom door open because im scared.

Ok, for those of you afraid of the dark, are you also afraid to let a hand or leg hang over the edge of the bed when you're in bed in the dark...you know, the monster/demon/whatever under your bed might grab it!

lol...I remember how I use tobe afraid of da dark..that was last yeear I think lol..well..I use to check any place dark where things could hide...den close things like doors...windows...ect..den cover my entire body wit myt blanket..like hiding under it lol

yes, Lol I am scared of the dark. I keep my phone in my bed, three nightlights, door open so I can run to the rentz, closet door shut, shadows covered up, under the blankets. hehe lol I hate it..I just get so scared!

and I'm not afraid to let my arm or leg hang over the edge.lol
