have you tried no light but some soft music? Also a dimmer light, like an amber colour or something darker so you can see but it wont shine through your eye lids.
try something like a small nightlight that plugs into a socket or something
it will be a lot less brighter. youll still have a light you just wont see it as much
or maybe try getting a lamp with a low watt light bulb
but have it somewere away from were you sleep, like on the other side of the room, so it doesnt shine in your eyes
and as djwager suggested,
you could try substituting light for something else like music
andhave a look around your room, tell yourself its safe, and your safe sleeping in there
your room is one of the places you should feel most safe in
if none of this helps, perhaps work toward smaking your room more comfortable and you
fill it with things you love, be creative, and maybe even get a more comfy matress or pillow for your bed. try putting some lavender oil on your pillow before you sleep as well, that will help relax you
hahahaha! 'points finger' your a scardy cat!
If there's a TV in your room, you could try leaving it on at night. If you don't like the noise, put it on mute.
You could also get a night light.
funny, scardy cat scardy cat scardy cat!
Yes I am a scardy cat, big deal.
think someone is there to protect you...that would probably help...when I was little I used to have lots of teddys and I pretended they were my protection, I lined them up along my bed asif they were an army.
