no, there not. an earring does not belong in the nose
neither does anything else with a backing like a labret
(that people usually put in there lip)
proper nose rings dont have any kind of backing, and you shouldnt have to bend them either. nose screws are best as are L shaped nose jewelery, and rings
it sounds like the person piercing you was unprofesional
so try and go to a real profesional piercer somewere else and ask for there advice
they should know imediently wether whats in there should be or not
and they will have the proper jewelrey for it
your not supposed to change it untill 3 months but it will never heal with an earring stud in there. so ask the porfesional to change it for you

Advise on nose piercing i got done today
went and got my nose pierced today.. what I am worried about is that there is a back on it and it looks like she pierced my nose with an actual ear ring. are nose piercings supposed to have backs like earrings??
