Atkins will help but you mostly loose body fluids, not fat. Start excersise and eat less
I was on the low carb diet for 3 weeks and lost 18 pounds.I was taking in only about 8-10 carbs a day but I didnt excercise at all but I noticed just sitting still I was sweating and constantly felt energized. I ended up quiting due to temptation and gained all the weight back in a little amount of time im trying to start again but its so hard the second time around. I want to lose 100 pounds in a year and I really need to get started to acheive my goal I know it works because I've done it I ust need more self control and will power!






How can I be successful on a low carb diet?
OKay, so I'm going to go on a low carb diet again tommorrow. I've done it back in 7th grade like 5 years ago. I'm going to have to go it alone so I need motivation to try and stick to it. I got the gym membership now I just need to be confident in the diet. Basically, I want to know If anyone has done this and were you successful? When you enter ketosis, do you lose weight faster than if you weren't? How much weight a week will you lose if you eat just 20 carbs a day? I need to lose a lot of weight, like 180 pounds I have time but I need to lose it fast in like less than a year, I know its possible when on a low carb diet, but this is the last resort for me before I go crazy, and since my family won't help me in this I have to go it alone, so support won't hurt either.
