9-11-01

what are your thoughts and opinions on this, or if you have memories? the twin towers collapsing, the pentagon got partialy destroyed and there was a plane going to try and crash into the white house but landed in pennsylvania instead. I live near new york so every year im concerned sooo much with the twin towers and I still cant belive I’ve havnt been to ground zero yet. so tell me your thoughts, opinions, and memories of this day. (I have no memories, I was like really little)

Answer #1

Oh wow, I remember it. Although it is said that maybe the government had something to do with it…neither way can be fully proven…either way thousands of American people died…although it wasn’t quite like pearl harbor in the sense that we, the american people know they bombed our ships…we do know that whether it was committed by the US government, or terrorists, too many people died. I have been to ground zero, and the feeling is so erie, and it seems so cold sourrounding where those beautiful towers once set.

I also believe that 9/11 isnt as it appears on the surface because the pentagon for example had no plane wreckage recovered other than by the fbi. Only one video has been released which shows an explosion but no plane and if it was a plane that hit it the pilot wouldve had to have been very good because its a flat target not tall like the twin towers. I remember as a child watching this on tv although not fully understanding the consequences or even where these buildings were. Over 8 years I have researched the event in depth watching all the documentaries and taking diffrerent views but what I always know is that whatever happened whether terrorist plot or government conspiracy the people in those towers didnt deserve their fates and the bravery of some of the firefighters, workers and the american people all over the country is inspiring. I’ve been to ground zero twice in each time I’ve been to new york and it is such a strange feeling I get everytime I go there it feels you with an eeire awe. It is the saddeest place and atmosphere I have ever felt and I have been to Auchwitz concentration camp. I think it is so shocking to me because it took place in my lifetime.

My wife was already at work and called me while I was getting ready. She told me to turn on the TV. The 1st plane had already crashed into the world trade center and nobody knew what was going on. When I got to work I couldn’t even get onto CNN’s or ABC news’s web sites because of the traffic. One of the foreign news sites I visited said that 30 planes had been hijacked. Everyone gathered in our break room to watch the news on TV so very little work got done that day.

My cousin was assigned to the Pentagon in the office that was hit dead on. Thankfully, he wasn’t there that day because he had too much leave accrued so he scheduled that week off.

And as a side note Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy, American Dad, and Cleavland Show creator) was supposed to be on one of the Twin Tower flights and he couldn’t get to the airport in time.

Personally, I was at work, on break and watching the TV report when the second tower was hit. WOW. Unbelievable. Up until then, they did not know that it was terrorism.

I haven’t been to Ground Zero either, but when I do it will be powerful. Here in York, PA they brought in a steel girder that was a part of the Twin Towers, and a local cemetery is going to incorporate it into part of a memorial to fallen servicemen. I will be watching that.

I cant really remember it I was 6 years old at the time but I remember my mum was watching the news + it was on the breaking news bit. I always like 2 remember it + it upsets me how the people died :[

Answer #6

I Cry Every Time I See It. It’s A Very Special Memory To Me, and I Think It’s So Sad How Many people Died.

Answer #7

I think that the official version of 9/11 is fiction.

The compendium we are generally allowed to know is severely lacking.

The 9/11 commission was orchestrated by a member of the George H.W.Bush cabinet… [Philip Zelikow] …allowed the former President and Vice President to testify jointly… omitted numerous pertinent problems… failed to conclude others… and 60% of those composing the commission have admitted that the commission directors misled the members…

“Some staff members and commissioners of the Sept. 11 panel concluded that the Pentagon’s initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public rather than a reflection of the fog of events on that day, according to sources involved in the debate.”

The Washington Post, Aug. 8, 2006.

Sibel Edmonds… former translater with the FBI… breaking her gag order… stated that Al Qaeda… the Taliban… and Osama Bin Laden all were in direct communication with the US intelligence network up until Sept. 11, 2001.

Hardly a surprise… Bin Laden was an intelligence asset going all the way back to the Carter administration when Zbigniew Brzezinski masterminded the mujahadeen. His CIA name was Tim Osman… he toured U.S. military posts in this country… soliciting arms for the mujahadeen… whose database eventually became Al Qaeda.

The physically impossible explanation for the collapse of the WTC buildings 1, 2 and 7 also demand a revisit. The first two towers collapsed at free fall speed after being struck by jetliners. The official explanation is that the impact and resulting fires weakened the steel support beams and set off a domino pancaking effect. NIST…[National Institute of Standards and Technology] could not replicate the hypothesis during testing. Even if the testing proved the hypothesis valid… it doesn’t explain the speed with which the towers fell. The twin towers were supported by an inner circle of steel beams… steel beams around the perimeter also… and a weight bearing facade. The steel beams were thicker towards the ground levels… as they had more weight to bear. The pancake theory would have to allow time for each floor to be collapsed… fall onto the floor below… damage the steel infrastructure supporting the floor until failure.. and start the process all over again… until the numerous floors are accounted for. It is far more likely that the energy of the collapsed structure would at one point meet enough resistance to shift the downward energy into a tipping or torsional energy and leave much of the building standing and increase collateral damage. It would have taken much longer to occur. WTC 7’s collapse was explained the same way… except with the added difficulty of explaining the catalyizing event as it was not impacted by a jet.

The alternate theory I ascribe to is that the buildings were imploded. This better explains the speed and direction of the collapse. The finding of thermate debris in the rubble… molten steel being present… squibs being shown on film… and eyewitness accounts of multiple explosions prior to the buildings’ collapse further the theory.

The fact that Norad didn’t scramble jets to intercept the rogue jetliners coming towards the pentagon… That Norad shootdown orders were under the auspices of Vice President Cheney since June of 2001… as well as the failure to utilize the missile battery atop the pentagon for its own protection… zero out of 87 confiscated surveillance tapes around the pentagon have confirmed a plane hit it… combined with specific contradictory Norad testimony being omitted by the 9/11 commission suggest a cover up. Not to mention the fantastic display of aerobatics supposedly performed by the amateur terrorist pilot… Hani Honjour.

There are countless more anomalies either disregarded… omitted… or misrepresented in the 9/11 Commission report. These are the barest handful.

It is time to wake up. It is time to demand the truth.
