Who we are

At WriteSteps Pediatric Occupational Therapy, we are dedicated to helping children of all ages improve their handwriting, fine motor skills, sensory integration, motor coordination and planning. Our founder, Danielle Shulman, is a registered Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 17 years of experience. She holds a Masters in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and has received Advanced Certification in the treatment of Sensory Processing Disorder from the University of Southern California. With a passion for helping children reach their full potential, Danielle and her team provide personalized one-on-one treatment to ensure each child receives the attention and care they deserve.

What we Do

Our clinic in San Diego offers a range of services including handwriting therapy, fine motor skills development, sensory integration therapy, motor coordination and planning (praxis) therapy, feeding therapy for picky eaters, and visual perception therapy. We utilize suspended equipment in treatment to help improve muscle strength, balance, coordination, attention, and other sensory-related behavioral issues. With expertise in various handwriting methods and neurokinesthetics of handwriting, we are able to provide specialized care for children with diagnoses such as Dysgraphia, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, Autism, Down’s Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. Our goal is to tailor treatment plans to each child’s specific needs and daily activities to ensure optimal progress and success.
