Bernadette de Lavernette" was founded in 1996 by Brigitte Billardey after her trip to Madagascar where she fell in love with the rich explosive freshness of fruits introduced to her by the Malagasy people. Brigitte combined her family ritual of Jam making passed down by her mother with the fresh produce of Madagascar and experimented with new flavors.
