Who we are

At Advanced Endoscopy, we are a team of highly skilled gastroenterologists and hepatologists dedicated to providing top-quality medical services in Athens. Led by Dr. Georgios K. Anagnostopoulos, our clinic offers a wide range of gastroenterology services, specializing in conditions such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and haemorrhoids.

Dr. Anagnostopoulos, born in Athens in 1970, graduated with honours from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School in 1993. After completing his military service in the Hellenic Navy and working in a rural clinic on the island of Ios, he underwent specialized training in Gastroenterology at the 251 General Hospital of the Hellenic Air Force.
