I loved 28 days later. If you want a comedy, Shaun of the dead's pretty good as well.

As for the classics, Night of the living dead's a must. haha, and check out the music video for 'Thriller' by Michael jackson if you haven't already.

The remake of Day of the Dead's excellent as well, same director that did the film 300.
