because it makes them think you are talking about them and saying something bad I guess. think about someone pointing @ you at school and you didn't know them .

because it makes the person you are pointing at feel uncomfortable and self-conscience about themselves.

not true .. pointing at people became rude because when people beleived in witches they thoght pointing at other people would cast a spell .
