Why do people hate emos?

why do people hate emos & dont say because they cut because because anybody can cut weither their emo or not!!!

people like making fun of others to feel better and suprior than others and anything they dont understand or relate themselves with they think is weird or wack or not kool but people are what they are and we shoudnt worry about others thoughts as long as you long what you are and wha you feel strong about.

Not everyone hates emos. People like to make fun of others who are different or unique, because they aren't like them. I think everyone gets made fun of at some point in their life, and I also think everyone makes fun of someone else in their life. It is just how people are. I totally agree with the whole cutting thing... anyone can cut themselves, they don't have to be emo and not all emos cut.

I think that it is just a fad. Pretty soon another sterotype will come along and people will stop making fun of emos. Kinda like goths. People used to make fun of goths, then emos came along. Yes people still make fun of goths, but not as much as they used to. So I really think this will end...then again I could be wrong.

I don't make fun of emos and I don't hate them. I do not think that it is fair to judge someone based on a sterotype.

I hate emos because they're whiney, listen to bad music, and think they're different and cool when they suck just as bad as every other lame social category found at your local high school, but are actually worse, because instead of just shopping at some overpriced clothing store, they go way out of their way to conform to this latest popular trend and it's moronic.

Hate is a strong word, I don't necessarily a hate emos. But, I do hate people who label themselves like that because they want to pretend they are someone you aren't. I think people should just be themselves.

I dont think they hate emos. There is not such thing as emo people, just emo music.
I think people hate the fact that people stereotype themselves.

I dont think that emo is actually a way you dress or music you listen to.. its a state of bein emotional.. Most people. just label others as that. I dont hate "emos" I actually think they dress kinda cute. But I could never look like that I would be made fun of big time.

Because Emos are annoying. Everyone has problems in life, but some of us just chose not to stay in it. move on, get a job, do something. not everything center around your problems. find a solution. I think expressing your emotion too much is actually embarrasing. I hate it when my emo friends goes like "I wear a mask everyday so no one knows how I really feel". ARK! then stop hiding and show us how you really feel. no one is stoping you. "the world doesn't understand". frankly no one really understands anyone's problems.

I don't. I love them, when I see an emo being all depressed, I just want to give then a giant hug and tell then that it's ok.

I can't stand people who are depressed all the time and can't just move on with their lives. They have to whine and complain about everything.

just because they like to wear black does not mean they are relly emo. I have a friend that likes black and she is one of the most popular girls. IT DOESNT MATTER IF YOU ARE OR NOT. PEOPLE LIKE TO MAKE FUN OF ME JUST BECAUSE I DONT LIKE TO TALK TO PEOPLE WHO THEY THEY ARE SUPIORIOR. but guess what, im crazy with my relatives and they dont know that. people that think they are on top of the world would really do that or if they act popular.
