Why did my photo get deleted

why did my photo get deleted its the same1 as the 1 I've got now because I up loaded it again ha, but wats wrong wit it and why would anyone delete it?

Hmmm, I'm not sure. The middle finger thing is kind of offensive, but it shouldn't be deleted. Sorry about that.

I dont know. Maybe they got rid of it because it was vulgar.

It was considered obnoxious to the advisor who removed it, which is a violation of the ToU #7:
Crude, rude, or obnoxious behavior, questions, comments or other content may result in said content being deleted, and or you account being deleted, at our discretion.

In situations like this, however, it becomes a judgement call. What one person may find offensive may be acceptable to another.

I usually get a few opinions before deleting something I find in violation, since others may see it differently.

As far as I know, though, the photo in question is considered acceptable by admin guidelines.

the middle finger...why must you do that? think about it...do you have a need to portray a bad image? are you lacking the feeling of control in your life? the middle finger is usually used to place shame on someone...so if we are all being presented with it as your picture...it is disrespectful...would you middle finger your family and friends everytime you see them? would you do it to people who care about you? soo...why would you show it to people who are on here to answer any questions you may have?...

It was just a difference of opinion about whether its allowed or not - its come to a conclusion its alright to have up.
