No, because they'd look the same, but be a different person, which would just be weird. Maybe if it was a pet it'd be ok... but even then, it would just be strange.

No. Not only would be wrong doing it, and wrong believing us humans to be God. But it wouldn't be the same person. EVEN IF that could be possible, you would be able to clone (duplicate) His/Her body or genetic BUT NEVER THE SOUL AND SPIRIT OR MIND...it will be an entiredly different person (if that could be possible some day). But the same will be WRONG. And sometimes experiments like those would have consequencies. Better to Humanity not believe Themselves to be gods.

Please don't tell me you're referring to how you are a wicca, because it seems like for the past week you've been all over that one category of fun advice asking how to be one.

At this point I think you're just trying to get attention or something, I'm sorry.

No...you can recreate the genes...but you cannot recreate the upbringing, which would change the person's outlook of the world in general...

Besides, it's creepy...happy

No. They would not be the same person. Cloning is basically the artificial creation of an identical twin...many years later.

No, because they'd just be another person with the same DNA. And bringing up someone from birth pretending they're someone else is just creepy.

No.

Things happen for a reason. At the point of creating and taking away life, we are literally assuming the position of a God, or Higher Being.

What gives humans the right to playgod?

As much as we miss people after a death, when you clone something, it starts at an infant form. For instance, if your parents passed away, and they were successfully cloned, they would come back as a baby. So even still, it wouldn't be the same.

For the record, bringing someone back with magick(not saying it is or is not possible, so don't jump my case, it's spring loaded!!!) is NOT wicca, it's a form of Necromancy. Beginners in the craft, along with people who only practice a certain art of magick are inexperianced with that SHOULD NOT mess with it, serisly.

Moving on to the question.
No, not because of any religious reasons, but because I love the person too much to clone them. I love THEM for who they are, not how they look, which is basically all cloning can do. All you do is take a cell, clear out all the stuff in it, then put in the DNA material genetics, there ya go. Then you just find a good mother for it wait for it to be born. BUt there is a catch. The clone will only live out ht e years that the perosn did not. For example, lets say you lived 20 years your average death rate in your family is 35, your clone would only live 15 more years.
Besides, even if there were a way to replicate the person you loved down to the personality, I couldn't because I knew that it wasn't truly them. So even though it may bring me some temperare happiness, it would only bring more sadness in knowing th person is gone there is NO way of bringing them back. The clone.anfriod/etc would just be a constant reminder of something lost.
