Why won't my mom pay me to help, too?

My mom is taking up the carpet in her room and she is paying my bro. 15 dollars to help. She won't let me help or do anything. Can you help me?

Maybe she can't afford to pay two workers and your older brother is stronger, bigger, and able to help better.
