To be honest, men generally look at the world as a competition and wemon look at it as a group effort. The men will strive to memorize facts to feel better about themselves or work out to make sure that they look like an alpha.

Women do not have this drive. Those who do (like 80% of the female olympians are genetically male with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome). I am guessing that the large portion of amazing female scientists were genetically male.

Why make that statement without giving ANYTHING to back it up, dearth_md? Sure there have been SOME Olympians with AIS, but it's far from being the MAJORITY, like you suggest. In the Atlanta games, for instance, only .2% of the atheletes were diagnosed with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome... HARDLY a whopping 80% (http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2009/08/21/testing-athletes/)
And being smart/inventive/athletic are not solely MALE characteristics. I do not have the disorder, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.9 cumulative GPA, am very creative, mechanically inclined, a varsity athelete in high school, still play sports, yet am very feminine. I look, sound, walk, think femininely, have given birth, and am a very domestically oriented individual. Gee I guess I'm 'GENETICALLY MALE' and don't even know it! Wow, and that must go for all of my female friends who are successful. We can't POSSIBLY be successful FEMALES, we must have MALE parts! Wow, I never would have guessed (probably because I'm just an ignorant woman afterall...)
