I'm 13 this year and got 3 out of 4 of my wisdom tooth grown. Is it compulsory/nesscary to remove them and why? Is there any side effects after the extraction?

You need to go to a dentist to find out if they need to be removed. Some people have the extra space in their mouth, but a lot of people dont. Also sometimes they dont grow out straight (which is why I had to get mine removed). If there isnt enough space, or they grow crooked, they will start to push on your other teeth, and that will mess up your entire mouth... Once they're out, there's no side effects...

I had mine out when I was 12-13 years because my orthodontist determined I didn't have the room for them in my mouth. Haven't had any problems or side effects at all.

My dad has all of his wisdom teeth with room still behind. It just depends on the space available for their growth, =)
