Will they let me get my tubes tied?

Hi, I am 23 and I have a three year old daughter and I just wanted to know would they still tie my tubes or am I too young???

You can get it done at any age over 18 technically, so I'm sure if you really want to get it done you can.

I think as long as you're over 18 you can get them tied.
Although they might try to discourage it as the procedure is not always reversible, and if you want kids later on it might make it hard.
There are some long term contraceptives, there's the IUD, it can be put in place from 5-10 years, no surgery involved, no hormones either if you are worried about gaining weight. Then in 5-10 years if you are still sure you dont want kids you could have the surgery...

no I don't think they will. you have to be atleast 25 years old, or have 3 or more children. I fought with them and after me and my husband's 5th child, being I was 25, they finally did it, and you wouldn't think it would hurt as bad as it did...

Most likely they will tell you you are too young. Iam 26 and have aske for that numerous times and they just refuse. I was told to wait until I am on my 30''s. Good luck, and let me know if you are able too, and where.
