Your song in iTunes are saved to your computer. You'll just have to add your iPod as a new iPod to your iTunes account.

I have an iPod touch, and each time I added a new songs and when I open the iTunes all the old songs will be deleted, it will sync the new ones. Be sure to save the songs on the same file name and same categories of song. or either retrieve the songs from your original computer file where you save it. And add it to the sing category list.
