It depends on your current health status/metabolism and mode of testing. Generally, Clonazepam will show up as a Benzodiazepine. More importantly--if you're taking any benzo (or other drugs) illicitly I recommend you getting proper treatment. Clonazepam combined with other drugs can potentially cause severe toxicity. -S

I have been taking klonopin 4 five months now. I've took 2 mg the night before I was drug tested it didn't show up, I have never tested positive and I do take my klonopin almost daily.

Probably the reason you tested negative is because most drug test in work places only test for illegal drugs. If you took it the night before it definately should have given you a positive test.

I recently read that because its a benzo derivative it doesnt produce the two metabolites that benzo tests pick up on, pharmacologically speaking, the metabolites are close. I suppose it depends on the sensitivity of the test. I have a test in about an hour ill let ya know

I've been on klonapin for many years and on several methadone maintaince programs throughout those years as well. on more than several occasions the klonapin did not show up in my urine profile. I had privledges taken away due to this and I do always take my klonapin as prescribed!
