Will i be a good mother?

Beautiful sky Asked by helpangl about 1 year ago, 14 answers.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a long time now. I just found out I was pregnant for sure. We are both sixteen. We are looking everywhere for jobs because we don't want out parents to have to pay for anything even though they said they will...

pay for everything. I have already graduated high school so school won't be a problem. Ah I just want to be a good mother and I'm so nervous. Do you think I will be a good mother? Any tips or advice?

Thanks for your help3

School is a problem... just because you graduated high school doesn't mean you are done your education. Its possible, but not easy, to get a good career in the future without post-secondary education.

Im 19 and pregnant and all my mom was worried about when I told her was if I was going to finish college. I think to really be the best mom that you can you should go to college and give your kids everything that they want. I am in college and im going to try my hardest to give them all that I can. you should really consider that.

I didn't mean to get pregnant. I am on birth control and we used a condom but it broke. So technically, it isn't my fault. I am going to college in about a yer or two when it is old enough for daycare.[:

Well none of us know you so we cant really say if you'll be a good parent. But you obviously are caring. Maybe you could see if there are any parenting classes in your area. And when the baby is finally here just be there to comfort him/her make sure they're feed, warm clean, healthy. You do have your parents there to help you out if you need it. Not just financialy but also for emotional support you know. And your mom will probably have some advice because she raised you. Hope this helped. Good luck.

I think you will be a WONDERFUL mother as long as you are dedicated to your family, LOVE your child, and make sure it is clean and has food when it is hungry. That is the most important things that a child needs.. ALL The money in the world will NOT make you the best mommy.. The BEST education of all Will NOT make you the best mother either!! A good mother LOVES, CARES, and PROVIDES the best that they can for their child... Money helps, but isn't needed in large amounts.. A good education is great, but doesn't always guarantee a good job.. and so on...
Just love your child and be safe with your own life and that's all that matters!! Congratulations and good luck!!!

Well, I do think you'll be a good mother because you are so concerned about it. I'll tell you what my aunt told me when I got pregnant.
She said,
Tesha, it's not the mistake that counts (which I dont consider it a mistake at all, but thats not the point) it's what you do about the mistake after it's made
And you know what? Shes right! If y'all are trying to get a job and support it, then more power to yall and I think yall will be AWESOME parents!

I think your already in the making to be an amazing mother because you chose to keep your baby... and you want to work hard for your baby... you and your boyfriend have made the right choice and decided to think about your baby and not yourself and kudos to you guys... I think you will make a great mom and it sounds like the baby is going to have his/hers grandpa's and grandma's to spoil him/her
