Wii internet

I want to buy the internet channel on my wii, is it just a normal browser, is there nething special about it and do I pay money per month to use it or do I just buy it once and thats it?
Please help

You buy it once, you don't have to pay monthly.

You can play games on it that use only the mouse, there are a couple sites that are dedicated for wii internet gaming.

You can watch youtube but you can't listen to mp3's. like if you go to a website that has music the music won't load but everything else will.

I guess it is pretty handy I used to check emails and do banking on the wii interent when I was bored lol

You could probably go on a web messenger but I haven't tried that yet

^ Above is right I ahve had it for almost a year now. I find it great for when you have friends or family over and you want to show them a you tube video
